I had a 999r for a trackbike in 2010. They rev a lot higher than the s model.

I spent an entire day on a 2023 Rocket R, and I wasn't that impressed. It wasn't as fast as a sportbike, and when I did some rolling pulls against a Speed Twin 1200, it lost. I had it in sport mode and I do a lot of track days and know how to ride... It had immense torque and it was fast, but not as fast as I was expecting... The spec sheet gets you thinking it will yank your arms out of the sockets, but it just doesn't. I was like, "meh"...

Doesn't do it for me. The design doesnt flow, in fact there is no design, just a load of random parts made from unsuitable exotic materials thrown together. Looks like it was built by a hipster in a shed using bits from Wish.

Might be expensive but it’s ugly as feck. If I had the money I would buy a Langen 2 stroke and the new LightSpeed and have change for a decent car. Langen also hand made and bespoke to each customer with ABS etc, and look gorgeous unlike this pile of 💩
